Still Performance of the Year 2009 (Fantasia)

Still Performance of the Year 2009 (Fantasia)

I had to share this video because I think its the best performance so far this year of 2009. It's still the buzz around online everywhere. It is from our "American Idol", multi-Grammy Award nominee, Fantasia Barrino. She performed on UNCF's "Evening with the Stars: A Tribute to Patti Labelle." She performed Patti's classic song "Lady Marmalade".

I tell you, she can sing this song, like any song she's ever sung with passion and authenticity. She sang this song like she was 'Patti Labelle Jr.' back in the days with her group "Labelle". By proving to the world and nay sayers that she can overcome a risky throat tumor operation without a scratch is beyond a blessing anyone could imagine.

It is truly by far the "Best Performance of Year 2009". Its electrifying, dynamic and a tribute to Patti Labelle like no other.

If you did not see the show aired back in January 2009, you must see this performance if nothing else. If you have seen it, I'm sure you'd love to see it again and again and again!! So ENJOY!!
