Art Gallery Owner's Killer Found Guilty

Though this is not the norm in the art world, it must be told. A 52 year old man was found guilty of the murder of a Sarasota art gallery owner today. Mr. Elton Murphy was convicted by jurors in less than one hour for stabbing Joyce Wishart to death five years ago.

His sentence is life without parole.

Elton Murphy reportedly stabbed art gallery owner, Joyce Wishart 20 times at her prestigious gallery in Sarasota, Florida. Her gallery was located in the upscale art and theater district. Her body was mutilated and reportedly posed in a position like a woman in a painting in the gallery.
